Privacy policy of Hopf Kunststofftechnik GmbH

Preliminary remarks: Hopf Kunststofftechnik GmbH takes the protection of your data very seriously. We delete the data arising in this connection after storage is no longer necessary or restrict processing if there are legal storage obligations. 5 §2 Processing of personal data when using our web offers, purpose and legal basis of data processing Within the scope of our business activities, we process your personal data, as described in detail below, to the extent permitted by law in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letters a)-f). 2 If you provide us with your personal data for the purpose of implementing a contract, we will use the data collected for the purposes of implementing a contract or processing your enquiry, for customer management purposes and - if necessary - for the purposes of processing business transactions on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lt b) DSGVO. 3 If you send us your personal data when using the contact form or by e-mail, we will process the data to answer your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO if the enquiry has a contractual or pre-contractual reference. We process other enquiries on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO (justified interest). In addition, business correspondence is stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit c) in conjunction with § 257 HGB. If you have given us your consent to process your personal data, this constitutes the legal basis for the processing (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). 5 We process data for the purpose of safeguarding our legitimate interests on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO for the marketing of our products and services. Within the framework of the necessary weighing of interests, we take into account in particular the type of personal data, the purpose of processing, the circumstances of processing and your interest in the confidentiality of your personal data. In addition, we process data which we receive via third party providers or which we receive from you in the course of using third party applications (such as Facebook) in accordance with this privacy policy. Further Information §3 Receiver of data Unless otherwise regulated, your data will not be passed on to third parties. 2. We partly use contract processors for the processing of your data. In these cases we remain responsible for the protection of your data. All processors are contractually obliged to treat your data confidentially and to process it only within the scope of the service provision according to our instructions. These are e.g. IT service providers that we need for the operation and security of our IT system. 3. Furthermore, auditors, tax consultants, law firms, insurance companies and service providers (e.g. information files, parcel services and forwarding agents) may be recipients of your data for the purpose of initiating and fulfilling contracts. 6 §4 Duration of the storage of your data As a matter of principle, we store your personal data only for the processing purpose for which they were collected and only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose (Art. 5 Para. 1 lit. e) DSGVO). §5 Technical-organisational measures We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data managed by us against manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. §6 Third party content / web analysis Information on the cookies we use and their functions can be found in our notes on the integration of third-party content, the use of cookies and the evaluation of usage data and the use of analysis tools §7 Your rights 1. Use of cookies In addition to the data processing described in our privacy policy, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in accordance with the browser you are using and which provide certain information to the party that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website more user- friendly and effective overall. The following cookies are currently used: "PHPSESSID" - Required for the use of the contact form; will be deleted after leaving the website. 2. Notes on the use of third-party analysis tools Currently we do not use any web analytic tools and do not include third party content. 3. Notes on our Facebook fan page We store all personal data collected on our Facebook fan page in accordance with our privacy policy. The operation of the fan page is the joint responsibility of Facebook Ireland Limited ("Facebook") and Hopf Kunststofftechnik GmbH within the meaning of Art. 26 DSGVO. Please note that Facebook collects and processes certain information about your visit to our Facebook page, even if you do not have a Facebook user account or are not logged in to Facebook. Information on the processing of personal data by Facebook can be found at https://facebook.com/about/privacy/. As the operator of this Facebook page, we can only view your public profile on Facebook. Which information is visible here depends on your settings in your profile. In addition, we process your personal data (such as your name and the content of your messages, enquiries or other contributions to us) if you contact us via our Facebook page. We then process this data for the purpose of processing and, if necessary, reacting to your posts. 8 Facebook also provides us with so-called Page Insights data. This information is anonymous statistics that we use to evaluate the quality of our Facebook page and our content. These statistics are compiled on the basis of usage data collected by Facebook about your interaction with our Facebook page; we do not have access to this usage data. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) DSGVO, in particular in order to be able to contact you in connection with your enquiries or contributions, to recognise user preferences (e.g. number of so-called followers, number of visits to individual page areas, user statistics according to age, geography and language) and to be able to adapt and improve the offer on our Facebook page as closely as possible to the target group.
